Full Professor of Civil Procedural Law at “Tor Vergata” University of Rome Università di Roma “Tor Vergata“.

Author of monographies, commentaries and numerous other publications on the subject of civil procedural law, arbitration law, bankruptcy law, E.U. law, private international law.
Previously he taught at the University of Pisa.
He has promoted and organized several national and international scientific congresses as well as series of seminars, or he has participated as a speaker.

He is a member of the executive committee of the Italian Association of Scholars of Procedural Law and member of the Scientific Committee of the Italian Association for Arbitration.

Since 2011 (together with A. Giardina and G. De Nova) he is director of the Rivista dell’Arbitrato.

His Law firm, Briguglio Siracusano Vaccarella has assisted and assists numerous companies and public institutes, as well as extraordinary administrations and l.c.a. in national and international particularly complex disputes, on the subject of civil and commercial law.

He has been coarbitrator, sole arbitrator or president of the arbitration panel in several national and international arbitral proceedings.
